Libertarian Candidate for President Bob Barr is quickly becoming a huge pain in John McCain's ass.
For example, this...
Barr Calls for Debates with McCain, Obama: Include Libertarian Party, Nominee Demands
Our nation faces critical challenges in the years ahead. We can no longer accept "the tyranny of the status quo," says Barr. The American people deserve to know that they have a real choice come November. "Let the debates begin!"
Third Party Watch
Political observers are seeing trouble for McCain.
Does Obama insist on Barr’s participation — as Bill Clinton insisted on making Ross Perot part of the ’92 debates with George W. Bush?
I talked with one strategist earlier today, before this topic came up. He said the Democratic campaign is quickly coming to realize that Bob Barr is Barack Obama’s best friend.

Operation Raise the Barr! (incorrectly spelled without the exclamation point) is a campaign to give Bob Barr as much love as humanly possible.
He will become the the Ross Perot of this General Election taking 6-8 percent of the wingnut vote in red states and possibly throwing them to Obama.
The press is picking up on this...
The Moonie Times is worried...
Barr's presidential bid makes solid GOP states competitive
Stephen Dinan THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Bob Barr's Libertarian presidential campaign is poised to play a serious role in this year's election, with early polls showing him taking enough votes from Sen. John McCain to give Democrats a chance to win states that should be safely Republican.
Polls in Georgia and North Carolina over the past two weeks show Mr. Barr winning 8 percent and 6 percent, respectively, of the presidential vote. That would help keep presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama within striking distance of Mr. McCain in those states, which together account for more electoral votes than Florida, Pennsylvania or Ohio.

Even "Operation Chaos" leader Rush Limbuagh is worried.
When you call and ask, "What should we do?" What can we do? Third party is third party. I guarantee you, a third party... Even now, Bob Barr. I love the guy, but he's only going to take votes away from McCain; which, if that's what you want to do then, of course, go ahead and vote Libertarian; but that's going to guarantee Obama, and some of may want that.

So if you have an extra $20 that is burning a hole in your pocket, send some love to Bob Barr 2008
You will likely get really humorous emails until November, and you will have helped the Obama campaign is a few states where he really needs it.
